Payment gateway FAQs
Which payment methods does it support?
UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm, BHIM), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking across 50+ banks, and EMI options. All major Indian payment methods are covered.
How long does it take to receive payments?
Cashfree settles funds to your bank account within T+2 working days (the money arrives 2 days after the transaction).
What are the transaction fees?
Cashfree charges 1.75-2% per transaction depending on the payment method. There's no monthly fee. We don't add any markup on top of this.
Is it secure?
Yes. Cashfree is PCI-DSS compliant. Card details are never stored on our server - the customer's browser talks directly to Cashfree's payment page.
Can I issue refunds?
Yes, from the Cashfree dashboard you can issue full or partial refunds. Refunds typically reach the customer within 5-7 working days.
Do I need a current account to use Cashfree?
Cashfree can settle to savings accounts for freelancers/individuals and current accounts for businesses. You'll need to complete Cashfree's KYC during signup.
